    You can't actually change the length.If the length of your Source Physical File (eg: QRPGLESRC) is say, 92 then the only way to increase it is to create a new Source Physical File with a greater length (say, 112) and move all the source members into it.Either create the new longer file in another library or give it a different name in the existing library.Hope this helps.

    A source physical isn't a database file, so you can't use the facilities for changing field lengths. You can only create copies of your members in a new source file as NeilD said.   Tom
