 Is it difficult/expensive to increase the ‘flash memory’ for a Cisco 800 router series?
is it difficult/expensive to increase the 'flash memory' for a cisco 800 router series?

I understand to use the GUI on the 800 series it needs more memory , thereore i'm curious to know how much/difficulty this is.

It doesn't appear to be very difficult. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/800/hardware/notes/800upgrd.html Also, keep in mind SDM is at its end-of-life, and is being replace by Cisco Configuration Professional, which you can install on your desktop to manage multiple routers, so you don't need to store SDM on the router's flash memory. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps9422/index.html

Thanks very much Glob. As you guessed the plan is to use SDM. Any idea when roughly this will be replaced by CCP?
