Is ECC 6.0 the equivalent of Netweaver 2007? Is ECC 5.0 the same as Netweaver 2004? I am confused about the terms.

Yes, ECC 6.0 is equivalent of Netweaver 2007 and ECC 5.0 the same as Netweaver 2004.
