Is an associates in Computer Networking + CCNA cert going to get me a job?
Network+, CompTIA, computer networking, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, VoIP, Networking certifications
So, I've begun coursework at a local community college for an associates of science in Computer Networking, with an emphasis on Cisco. They are a certified learning partner with Cisco. So, I am wondering what kind of job viability I would have as a candidate with both the Associates and certification (CCNA).
I wanted to land a job, and go part time to complete my BS in Networking after my associates if possible. Any help is appreciated,

Yes, a CCNA will go a long way to getting you an entry level or part time job. It also helps to have some experience.
Bluntly speaking, the CCNA on its own will not get you a job.
You will need to demonstrate experience, either as a volunteer, or as an intern, or something similar.
Something that will display your eagerness and readiness for a company to place their trust in you.

A certification is not - in and of itself - going to get you a job. Who do you know? Who knows you? Are you networking a lot to meet other people? What do you do well? How well do you communicate with others? What are your specific goals for your career?
