Mr. Denny is absolutely correct. The MCDBA is clearly at the end of its life cycle. You should let your preferred SQL Server version guide the specific credentials in the MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist) and MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) realms. Beyond that, I can&#039;t really add much to this discussion except to thank the previous poster for providing such a thorough answer. The only thing I might point out, however, is that you can find the details and requirements for all of these certifications through the Microsoft Learning &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/default.mspx&quot;&gt;Certification Overview&lt;/a&gt; and related Web pages.
