Hi
IPv6 does not know classes like IPv4 does. The interface ID part (known as host ID in the IPv4 world) is always 64 bits in size. The prefix part is divided. An ISP will usually get a /32 prefix from his registry. A customer will usually receive a /48 from his ISP. So this leaves 16 network bits for the customer for his corporate subnets.
Cheers
Silvia
