I am having issues inserting video I found on the internet into a PowerPoint and then presenting it from that slide. Is there a trick or steps in inserting a video off the internet into your PowerPoint and including the audio with it too?

Answer Wiki:
Here are a few ideas I have use. 1. Download the video from YouTube with a program like Real Player. This file Should be an FLV which should work with PowerPoint if not Real Player can convert the video to a mpeg4. Save the PowerPoint project into a folder and then drag the downloaded video into that folder. Once the PowerPoint and the video are in the same folder embed the video into the PowerPoint and it should work. Sometimes if the video is just on the desktop PowerPoint forgets the link and wont play for some reason. 2. You can also use a plugin for PowerPoint like this one. That acts as a universal communicator from PowerPoint to the Web for multimedia presentations. If that does not work let me know and I have a few other ideas. I work with Dell.
