Windows Server Security, Windows Server 2003, Firewalls, Windows Server Error Messages
I am getting this error while open the Firewall in win2k3 "windows firwall cannot run because another programme and service is running that might use the network address translation component (Ipnat.sys)

HI,

Hope you have installed some kind of personnal firewall like norton.Unistall if any and try again if you cannot find it try reinstalling servic epack of windows 2k3

try this also if enabled Routing and Remote Access service
---------------My Computer>Manager>Services and Applications>Services. Disable Routing and Remote Access service

It is more likely that you have enabled Routing and Remote Access service. Disabling it is the wise choice.
