IPL (boot) from SAN
I have 2 System i 570 connected to 2 x DS8100 in 2 different locations and replicating with PPRC.
No internal disks, IPL from SAN.
We will run a switch test : stop production server, end PPRC and start backup server on the "PPRC copy" (more steps indeed).
Does anyone has information about the action to be performed during the first manual IPL when IPLing from the "copy".
I think they must be some disk problems to aknowledge because of differents serial numbers but I don't find any specific info on IBM support's web site.
