At work we have three workstations working off a single network which ties into our server. I booted up one morning and could not connect to either the network or the internet. The window was telling me there was no ip address assigned. All the other workstations had no trouble sigining on and accessing our network. I narrowed the problem down to the router, which is a Linksys. I am assuming the router is not allowing my workstation to access an IP address in the pool. How do I correct this without assigning a static address to my workstation? If I was to assign a static address how do I figure out what IP selections are available for my network?
