 IP default 0.0.0.0
Teen messed with system config while downloading ( I don't know). I did unsuccessful system restore from external drive. Config & drivers not right. Now all IP's are set by default to 0.0.0.0. Can somebody please suggest where to start fixing this?

HP Intel centrino2, Windows 7 eternity, docking port for office, idk

I would sort out the drivers first, and then try setting the adaptors to use DHCP and see if they pick up an IP address when connected. If it had fixed IP addresses, then speak to the network administrator and they will know the values you should use.

for your drivers if you are using windows 7, windows update at times can pickup drivers for your laptop then like BlankReg say, use DHCP to see if you can get an IP address
