Disabling IP Proxy on Opera
My opera uses proxy address but not other browser..What is proxy and how can i disable it from my opera.I haven't configured or changed any setting in opera.

First, a proxy is a web page that provides Internet users with the ability to browse websites that a content filter, such as WebSense or SmartFilter, may block. a proxy server is a server (a computer system or an application) that acts as an intermediary for requests from clients seeking resources from other servers.
Now, I have never used Opera because it has a thing called P2P in it that allows other users, sometimes without you knowing it, into your system. That is why it is not allowed on a lot, if not all, government systems because of the ability to use it to hack into a system and then gain access to the domain.
As to configuring it, you should, by looking at other browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) be able to go into Options and Settings and just turn it off, especially since you are not going through a proxy server, are you?

To disable proxy settings in Opera:
Select Tools > Preferences > Advanced tab > Network sub-category
now click the Proxy servers button and remove proxy information from the corresponding fields. Ok to continue works. However it is based on ver.10

Ip checking site shows my IP is 80.239.242.191 but my real IP is 49.244.228.53.

It is not a good idea to disclose your ip address. Unfortunately, that is the world we live in!!
It is better to mask it like 80.xxx.x24.xxx and 49.x4x.xxx.xx – or some thing similar.

Then where are you getting the idea that a proxy is being used? So far, it doesn’t seem that there is.

I dont want to disable IP address i just dont want to use fake IP address.I want to use my real IP address.Thats all
My opera shows 80.239.242.191(poland) but Firefox, Google chrome or IE shows 49.244.228.53.(Nepal My country)
