Hi, We have been getting email from several people who all have the same IP address. How is that possible? They are using different email programs (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc) but in the headers of the email, the same IP address shows up. These folks live in different areas of the state and my very basic understanding of an IP address was that it identified a computer in a network. Does the IP address identify the computer, internet provider, individual? I guess my bigger question is can people "share" an IP address? Thanks for any help anyone can give me to understand IP addresses better. Julie :)
