 IP address of Wireless AP
I heard that it is possible to setup IP address of wireless AP to other subnet than has the LAN which is connected to due to save LAN address range. For example LAN:192.168.1.1-254, AP 's address 192.168.10.1 . This address has reportedely a snese for configuration purpose only. What do you think of it? (Sorry for my english ... :-)

But there will not communication between your local LAN and wireless Network until you have a layer 3 switches doing the routing operation. One more option you will have is to create seperate VLANs for your wired and wireless networks. Then both VLAN will be in different subnet. Be sure your Switch is L3 and can do intervlan routing.
