Do not use the one that says “Recommended”. You will notice that the person who is supposed to be only getting the information invite is also receiving the actual invite and can respond as well (which they aren’t supposed to be able to do). Have invites either go to you or to both of you. It will solve the duplicate issue

Are these Exchange accounts? If so what version and patch level of Exchange? When appts are duplicated, do all the same users receive duplicates? Do ALL of the invitees receive duplicates of that meeting request or just some? Are there blackberry devices and a BES server involved?
