Hi I don't think your problem is on the network card but on the server that is supposed to release you an IP address (DHCP server). The tests show that you received an APIPA address (Microsoft default address where none can be received). Try rebooting your router/modem and see what happens.

As Alessandro mentioned, 169.254.xxx.xxx addresses are default Microsoft addresses that tell you that you weren’t able to get an address from the DHCP server.
