I want to securely delete the internet browser history in Vista but the folder is hidden. How do I view a hidden folder in Windows Vista?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

The easiest way to fix this is to open IE and go to Tools > Clear Browsing History.

This is not a secure delete. I need to delete and leave no traces of browsing history.

to view hidden folders in vista go to Start > Control Panel > Folder Options >View tab > Show hidden files or folders.

If you want to view system files as well uncheck hide protected operating system files.

Go to Folder Options in Control Panel. Click Appearance and Personalization and then click Folder Options. Now click the View tab.
Click Show hidden files, folders, and drives under Advanced settings, and then click OK.
