Assuming you are in a learning process. When you type a URL in a browser, this browser that is internet service sends a message to a machine called a Server that is owned by internet service provider or ISP. The browser here acts as a client & sends a request to the remote server. The server processes the request & sends a response using a protocol called HTTP or HTTPS (secured). HTTP or HTTPS is built on top of TCP/IP which helps us to establish the connection & transfer happens as text between the client and server.

The internet service would be the "provider" of access to the internet via a paid subscription service or via public Wi-Fi. They are the service provider and would assign an IP address for you connection to control the traffic flow back and froth from your computer to the internet.

There are a lot of pages and videos explaining these things out there in the web. You would learn a lot more by doing your research than asking these short questions.
