Can anyone tell me about internal architecture and directory stucture of both Domino server and Lotus notes 8.5 I am doing research work in Domino server. I want to know about internal architecture of both Domino server and Lotus notes 8.5. Currently i am looking for directory structure of both. i.e where mails of user are saved ( it's in domino server or in lotus notes ). I am new to both technology and looking forward to be expertise in both. Send me link if possible.

    To clarify as well, the Notes client (notes 8.5 in your reference) does not really have a "directory structure", it has a contacts database but that is about it. it is a client like Outlook. The server side Domino has changed, but not drastically, since version 3.x when the x.500 standard naming conventions were adopted. Mike Kinder
