Interconnectivity WLAN and LAN computer on a network

Network, LAN, WLAN, Network monitoring, Wireless

We have a wireless router connected to the server so that all other laptop and wireless devices can access the internet and share printers. The server is on a LAN while the laptops are on WLAN. There's a printer connected to a computer on the LAN but the Laptops can not seem to connect to the printer so that they can print.

I would like to know if it is possible for the WLAN laptops to connect with the printer on the LAN computer.

This could be a routing issue between the LAN client/server and the WLAN client. Check the default gateway settings on all devices and confirm communications through pinging (ping x.x.x.x) each device from the other device.

Check that a share has been set up for the printer, that security on the share has been set to allow other users to connect to it (i.e. not set to exclude public etc.) and that file and printer sharing has been enabled on the computer with the printer connected.
