Hi Rajeshece,

I am little clear here.

1) I have inserted font card on the Intermec PM4i Printer.

2) I need to print the chinese text from AS/400

3) When it is printing well from notepad (through windows FTP), it is not printing from AS400. It’s coming as junk characters.

Can anyone suggest what OUTQ setup I need to make in order to print this chinese character? Any other way to do this?

Kindly let me know asap.

Thanks,
Krishnan N

For some of our label printing, we had to add a workstation customizing object to the Intermec printer device description. For ours, the WSCST object was QGPL/INTERMEC. Otherwise, we had issues printing some complex barcodes. Maybe that would help with advanced character sets too…

You may want to just call Intermec. They’re the ones that helped us figure our issue out!
