 Installing old tape 7208 and new Iseries HW
AS/400 backup, AS/400 upgrading, IBM 7208 8 mm Tape, IBM 9407 M15, Tape Backups
How can I install a 7208 to a 9407 M15 ?? or how can I read 8mm 7 GB tapes with a 9407-M15 ??

I am sorry to say that I believe you cannot , the old controller cards will not work on new software and hardware versions, especially if on V6R1
