Installing IIS and Message Queing on a Gateway laptop. After selecting these components I am prompted for the XP Pro disk. I provided a disk and pointed to the proper location of files but machine refuses provided disk. I think it is looking for the original disk used to build this machine. I work in a very large government hospital and most machines are built from image on ghost server. I have no idea where the original disk is that created this image. Is there any way to "fool" the machine so I can use another XP Pro disk? It would save hours and hours of rebuilding a laptop.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

After it rejects the disk it should give you an open file dialog box. Within this dialog you should be able to select the correct folder on the CD/DVD which has the files that it’s looking for.

Windows has no idea which physical media was used to install it. It’s just having a hard time finding the correct folder on the CD/DVD.
