We are actually using OS/400 software Rel 4.5 (R4V5)
A friend sent us a client access service package and we managed to install it after clearing registry issues (which you previously commented on.

On 5-9-12 I had issue where user could only get one sign on. The client access would "try to connect" ie-gave us a black screen with message at bottom "connecting" but it didn't actually connect.

I used command wrkcfgsts *dev to look at how many qpadev XXXXX sessions were at varied off status, thinking that could stop her from connecting. I am set up for a max of 75; and some were varied off, but not enough to stop her from getting a valid connection. In the proces of this I noticed that her userid along with the userid of the previous user of this new pc with windows 7 were shown under "dev" and both were varied off.
I varied on the device with her userid; then had her do a soft reboot and she was able to connect. Just verified with her today that she is having no issues with connecting and she says, "NO."

os400 rev4v5

Can you clarify that? Does that mean you're running against OS/400 V4R5, or is it i5/OS V5R4?
