 Installing a Simple SAN — good or bad experience?

Hi -- has any administrator had a less than ideal experience installing a Simple SAN in their business? Was the deployment process not as simple as it was cracked up to be? Or were too many features/functions left out in the name of simplification? Note: I am an editor at TechTarget and am researching a story. But if anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it.
