No. The IE9 only support the following OS.

# Windows Vista 32-bit with Service Pack 2 (SP 2) or higher
# Windows Vista 64-bit with Service Pack 2 (SP 2) or higher
# Windows 7 32-bit RTM or higher
# Windows 7 64-bit RTM or higher
# Windows Server 2008 32-bit with Service Pack 2 (SP 2) or higher
# Windows Server 2008 64-bit with Service Pack 2 (SP 2) or higher
# Windows Server 2008 R2 64-b

    That is correct. I tried and researched too,. I just download Oracle VM VirualBox and installed Win7 then installed ie9. So I had my XP Pro for everything and the VirtualBox to test for the future
