 Install VirtualBox + Ubuntu + USB
Linux Distributions, Ubuntu 10.04, Virtual Box
I want to install: * VirtualBox 3.1.6 for windows hosts (I see that VirtualBox 3.2.0 Beta 1 was released on May 01) My questions: 1. Is VirtualBox 3.1.6 compatible with Ubuntu 10.4 or do I have to use 9.10?

VirtualBox 3.1.6 can now be installed directly from the Software Center with Ubuntu 10.04. AFAIK there are no problems with this.

I’m not sure if question was about installing VirtualBox on Windows (you said ‘windows hosts’) to run an Ubuntu 10.4 guest, or vice versa.

Anyway, I think both combinations should work without issues.
