		<description><![CDATA[The Mac version of the notes.ini is the Notes Preference file and it can be found in the Preferences Folder.  You can simply drag it to the Trash can and empty the trash.  Notes will detect that there is no preference file and will take you through the set-up wizard in order to create a new preferences file.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Thanks. The Files for the Mac are different.  There are tow files created - a*.plist file under preferences and a file called &#039;Notes Preferences&#039;.  Once I had put these into the trash it seemed to work.

		<description><![CDATA[Similar to the other guy I am not a MAC expert but the file you are probably looking for the the Notes.ini fileor equivalent. This will stay even after uninstalling Notes. A trick I learnt was that to reinstall notes without having to reload the software is to open up the notes.ini file and delete all the file except for the first 5 lines and then relaunch this will see it as a new installation
