How to I open an .ink format file?

A video file being sent through Dropbox came in at this format.  Is it an actual video or still pictures or none of those. How do I open it?

Those likely aren’t .Ink files – those are likely .Lnk files (lowercase L looks like an I).

    Here is a good site for finding info on a specific file type and what programs will open the file. Once open with one of these you may be able to save it in a different format. If that option is not available a google search will give you some conversion programs. Be careful some may contain malicious code.
