 Information Security Awareness
We are in the early stages of creating an Information Security program for our new company.  I would like to email monthly security tips, tidbits, etc  for Security Awareness to all employees.  Have you seen anything "catchy", grab your attention type email subject lines and/or icons, so we can catch people's attention to these monthly topics?

Answer Wiki:
Odds are you'll just annoy your employees. There are a VERY small number of employees who will read them, but 99.9% of your employees will simply ignore these emails as they have actual work to do.

there are actually a lot of information on the internet from phrases, posters and etc..

but like what Mr Denny say, most of the time people will just ignore the email.

I think its worth a try than doing nothing about it…the chances are 1% of those that reads the email security awareness can expose or spread the rumours or info.. provides another extra 1 or to 5% to those that might have not bothered readin it..

I think most of us agree that emails are not a viable method of making staff aware of security issues. Your time would be better used on training days.

Those ‘eye catching’ emails are exactly what the scammers use to get their targets open the emails in the first place, so it could be counter productive getting staff used to opening flashy emails.

and can i also add on that with posters, paste it around your office or where most people might gather (pantry, lift area and etc) and if you are allowed, do some security awareness training
