VoIP – Incoming DTMF tone problem

I have Verizon Home 768 DSL service. Verizon gives you a Westell 6100 modem, and the DSL shares the same line with my landline phone. I also have T-Mobile At Home VOIP. The VOIP worked great until a month ago. Suddenly, my 2 line answering machine no longer responded to incoming DTMF tones over the VOIP line. However, it works great over the land line. I called T-Mobile, and they replaced their router which is a Linksys WRTU54G-TM. T-mobile also rolled back the driver to the older driver. But still the same problem. The dtmf outgoing tones work great. It's only when someone makes an incoming call over the VOIPline that the DTMF tones are so short and quiet, the answering machine's voice mail doesn't respond to the tones. Could it possibly be the Westell 6100 modem? The internet seems to work great. The voice quality over the VOIP line is excellent.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Problem started on March 29, 2009 (worked just fine before that date, for about 3 month)
Same problem here,

my setup:
Verizon FIOS 20/20, 2 t-mobile@home routers(latest firmware 1.0.15, tried 1.0.9 and 1.0.4 but the same issue) 3 numbers, all numbers are affected, tried different answering systems and PBXs, all the same. incoming tones are not being recognized. Called t-mobile ;)). Waste of time as usually.

Outgoing DTMF is just fine, incoming are too short and barely audible

I am having the SAME problem with T-Mobiles At-Home VoIP service. Muted incoming DTMF tones. The date this started seems correct. I reported it 3/30/09, and to date, T-Mobile is still 'working' on it. Today they told me the resolution date is 4/27/09. I'm unable to get any further up the tech support chain. If there are any suggestions, I'm listening.
