 Inbox item count
Hi, When viewing your Inbox there is a count of items at the bottm left hand cornor. My issue is that the number of messages in the Inbox does not match the number of items indicated. It seems there are two invisable messages as when a new message appears in the Inbox the items count increases by one. Please advise.

Answer Wiki:
Are you working on online or cached mode? If you can, exit Outlook, locate the OST file and delete it. Reopen Outlook and the OST file should be recreated. See then if the item count matches.

Thanks Labnuke99, I now have the answer, the reason these two messages where invisible was the sender selected the sensitivity to private rendering the message visable to the recipient only.
Even if full mailbox rights are applied to this mailbox and added to your mailbox view pane, the privately sent emails would not be visable. Hence the number of message visable differs to the number of items in the Inbox.
I’ve basically anwered my own question but if this helps anyone else then great.
