A question submitted on SearchExchange.com:

In an Inter-Forest migration from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007, whats the easiest way of moving Public Folder data?
I am using ADMT to migrate users resources etc.
Using exmerge to export Exchange 2003 mailboxes to PSTs and then using import-mailbox on the Exchange 2007.

These are different forests. we are re-organizing our domain.

There is a forest trust between the two.

I do not want to have to install Exchange 2007 in the old organization/forest.

You can use the InterOrg Replication Utility to replicate Public Folders (including System Folders like Free/Busy) between 2 Exchange Organizations.
