Docs are linked to Work Order or Notification via a DIR which links to the doc. What is a DIR? = Document Information Record. A DIR’s is similar to a Library record Card but many times functionality. DIR is a record in the SAP system with information about a document. All electronic formats E.g. Word Reports. Autocad Drawings. Pictures, Scanned docs and images. Emails. MS Word, Excel, PDF. These are stored in a separate server Knowledge provider (K Pro)

Thanks Aedgar. After contacting our SAP specialists, I found out that it is a very simple cut and paste process, and most formats are accepted. Accept that our Corp. Office decided that this feature should be turned off for some unknown reason. Possibly memory space.
