I'm importing succesfully iSeries Spoolfiles in Windows Systems with an ActiveX/VisualBasic application and the CA400's cwbobj.dll. In order to optimize my VB app I would like to have specific informations about cwbobj's function ReadSplf and about filtering the Spoolfiles list by Outq. (Sorry for my poor english) Thanks in advance !

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You probably have this information already, but Starquest has some info about the cwbobj_REadsplf API.

I’m sorry I don’t have experience with this. Search400 may be able to provide some help as well.

Thanks Rowena, very kind but: the Starquest link page contains only syntax details. My problem about ReadSplf is that the data retreived seem to be EBCDIC but I can't find a way to correctly translate to ASCII, have you a suggestion ? (in VB or VB.NET or C# or scripting or ...) Another problem on the usage of cwbobj is that asking the Spoolfiles list by OUTQ returns no errors but no spool too... Thank you Bye
