Q:
importing files into AS400 via client access
I use client access to import files into AS400 files all the time. I'm having a problem with special characters used in foreign cities not importing correctly into AS400. Help!

Hi Martin,

Client access window prompt only has a checkbox for CCSID 65535. How do I specify a different CCSID?
Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

According to the help text :-

Convert CCSID 65535

Allows you to convert data tagged with a CCSID of 65535. The user profile CCSID will be used for the conversion. This option is not recommended in a multiple language environment.

Regards,

Martin Gilbert.
