I need to import data from a proprietary program in a hand-held data logger that outputs .dbf files with names longer than eight characters (Ex; HN021372_ode7qr_1564.dbf). I can't get Access to import these files until I rename them to eight characters. Is there a way to set Access to accept long .dbf file names?
