Implementing Global Address List after installing Exchange 2005
I have a domain with 1 Windows Server 2003 server. There are 10 workstations runnning XP Pro and Office 2003. We recently installed Exchange Server 2005 on the server mainly to take advantage of the Global Address List (GAL) feature. Previously, each user was using Outlook 2003 and pop email through our ISP. Everyone has their own address book which they all would like to share. How do I import the 10 address books into a GAL?

Answer Wiki:
What you're doing is setting up "mail-enabled" objects. You will need to use an import tool such as CSVDE, which should be in the system32 directory on the Exchange server. You'll want to mess around with exports first to make sure you have the format right before you do an import.
