 Implementing Enterprise Project Server 2003
Uncategorized
We are planning to implement Microsoft's Enterprise Project Server 2003. I would like to know if any of you have implemented Project Server 2002 or 2003, and if so, have you realized an improvement in project portfolio management and in the allocation of resources to projects? Are there any specific problems that you encountered in your implementation that would be beneficial for me to know about for our implementation? Thanks.

We are in the process of evaluating project mgmt software, has anyone had any good/bad experiences with products on the market? MS Project Enterprise is one we are considering.

I’m currently working on a large project (with several subprojects) at a bank where MS Project is stillused for planning and tracking. The effort that we need to put in there once the projects are started has caused us the consider the use of Enterpise Server. The improvement versus our current situation looks nice, but it is not obvious to have them all tested.
Concluding: we contenplate a similar direction as you but want to see evidence that the promises from the software can be applied too.
