I'm merging two domains within the same forest. Both domains and the forest are Windows 2003 Native. Domain B has a single server that is a DC with Exchange 2003. I have a new member server with stand alone Exchange 2003 in domain A. I'm attempting to run the user migration tool from Domain A to pull the account info from Domain B (SIDS and such). I'm using ADMT 3.0. I get an error when I try to connect to Domain B from Domain A: ADMT is unable to connect to domain controller B. The network path was not found. I have attempted to set up the trusts between the domains but when I do, my users cannot connect to Domain B Exchange server via Outlook. I have to remove the two way trust and my users have to reboot in order to connect to exchange again. The trust still will not allow me to Connect to domain B. In each domain, I can perform a dnslookup on each others Exchange machine name and IP address and it does resolve. I have been unable to locate any answers via blogs and web searches and I'm on the verge of calling MS Tech support. Do you have any suggestions on where I should look or check the network for obvious problems (permissions and such).
