Ignoring Compounded InfoObjects in BEx Query
I need to produce an SAP BW report on labor hours and quantity by 0OPERATION only; however, 0OPERATION is compounded to 0PRODORDER. The typical query will always add the 0PRODORDER value to the front of the 0OPERATION value, so that the common 0OPERATION values are not condensed into a single row. This is great for most of our reporting needs, but this one report wants to ignore the 0PRODORDER value. How can I make this report ignore Order and only report on Operation?

Answer Wiki:
Are you really sure you want to ignore the order number? If you do this, and you select operation 1 in your query, you will get the values for both operation 1 of order 1 and operation 1 of order 2. You should not be doing this unless you have some other method of ensuring that your operation numbers are unique. If you really do want to do this, you can drag the order out of the query definition.
