If i get, looking at a DLink wireless 942L cam, has motion detection.. If point it out a window? .....will it detect motion still?? Thus will trigger record, send email!!!

    Try it and see. There's no way for us to know without a full description of the environment, the window, the setup, the positioning and possibly many other factors.   Thus will trigger record, send email!!!   To whom do you want the camera to send e-mail? Is it connected to an e-mail server? Did you set up an e-mail account for it? We can't know if it will send an e-mail record or not unless you tell us everything about its setup.   Try it, and see for yourself.   Or were you wanting us to send e-mail to you about our answer? Why would we do that? Any responses will be posted here, not sent as private e-meil. This isn't a personal "free research" site.   Tom
