ok, here you go. the websites you visit are stored in binary files called index.dat. you need a viewer in order to read all of these files. (an associate keyed me into this)

i have tried a few of the viewers but they did not have the print function and one caused some adware problems. the one i finally found that does not have these shortcomings can be found @

no gaurantees, and the value of this information is worth what you are paying for it!

Without knowing exactly what you are trying to accomplish (like establishing a browsing timeline of an errant employee, or frantically trying the find that one website that had the answer to the meaning of life) here are some basic suggestions...

If you need more of a timeline you can go to the temp internet files folder sort by date then either print using printscreen or a file folder print utility like extech Print Folders. If that doesn't work, copy all files to another non-system folder then do a cmd dir->list.txt. The command line is your friend.

If you are searching for a particular site, sort that temp int. folder by type then start browsing the htm documents...

Without more direction from you, that is all I can suggest.

Good Luck

There is a product called HyperSnap-DX from Hyperionics that can copy the window. It can even be set to autoscroll the length of the entire window. It sells for about $35.00.

This is a tool that is used as the standard in our organization for screen captures.
