IBM TS7740 Virtualization Engine


Storage, Backup & recovery, Storage products and equipment, Arrays, Tape drives/Libraries

Does anyone know what IBM disk controller or disk array is integrated as the disk buffer into their recently announced TS7740 enterprise tape virtualization solution?

Is this for a future purchase? I would call IBM at 800 ibm call, you can also read the spec page at:

We use the older Tape libraries and have found them to work well, I scanned the article but didn't go in depth with it.
