I have done a full load of Client Access onto a new Dell laptop with VIsta and all works OK but the AFP Viewer... get the message AFP WOrkbench Viewer has stopped... How can this be corrected, if at all?

Please provide us with the Service level from System i Access for Windows Properties (along with the version/release from the same screen.)
First thing that should always be done is checking your service level.
