If you get a twinax printer interface, you can connect the printers to a terminal or PC running client access. It does make things a little complicated to set up, but once set up, it runs very well. I have two PRIAM interfaces that I haven’t touched in years running twinax dot matrix printers.

We have run for the past 5 years, a 4234 printer attached to the systen via an AXIS print box. The trick is in the setup on the AS400. Once the interface is set, you need to tell the system that the machine is no longer on a twinax connection. Our machine is configured as follows:
