 IAS MAC address as User account at AD
MAC address, Radius Server, Windows Server 2008
we are using AP MAC address authenication with RADIUS server( Windows Server 2008). We created MAC addresses =User accounts at AD. At NPS network policies conditions with Windows Group with Value with MAC address User account Group. But it not working. I also edit DWORD 31 to Registry at RADIUS server. I think I missing something to allow Authenication Policy with MAC address user??!! Can someone help!! Thanks. CHENS2

I finally figured out this one. We do create MAC Address=User name at AD and make sure the password is MAC address also. This is very import step otherwise you will get unknown user name and bad password or mismatch user name and password. Now it is working. CHENS2.
