My husband and I are separating. My husband does not have the same carrier. Only thing they started deleting and controlling were texts and an email between him and girlfriend. Terrified to go back to va as it was done after I was here in Puerto Rico for my moms death. He texted me to send my email address and then my emails disappeared. Everything is haywire and I'm scared to go back to VA where we live. Please help.

Software/Hardware used:
aol, yahoo, samsung google accounts text messages voicemail camara

Why are you waiting? Just change all password (social media including email) with complex ones. After that please stop doing any kind of activities on your social media and observe what is going. If all are well, you can start social media activity with new password(s).

There is no reason to think that your phone was "hacked" from what you posted. Much more likely is that passwords were copied from a password cache at some point; no "hacking" needed.

Advice already given is to change passwords on those accounts. There is no better advice unless "hacking" evidence is available.

One more thing, you mentioned, emails are disappeared, in general emails reside in server that is vendor's sever and not in your phone. Probably your email account might signed out or something like that. In that case, you can log in again your email account and sync to get emails again. Rest procedures depend on the situation.

aol confirmed he went in as administrator into my old aol account i haven't used in years. the only email that i cant forward is the email between his gf and myself from my yahoo account to her aol account. some other yahoo emails showing incriminating evidence against him for our separation gone. i change  my password for google and samsung accounts on computer, go on phone says incorrect password or im not authorized. the texts that were deleted were the ones between her and i. the phone flashes randomly when i open phone or am speaking with someone (male). sometimes he texts me with a period b4 the texts??? he says things to me that is impossible for him to know as i in PR and he in VA. we both have note 8s but i just got mine and never used bixby, there was an app downloaded from bixby. we don't have the same carrier. he had access to my phone b4 i left and it started getting hot and weird emails and texts with only symbols, letters and numbers. i found an email i hadn't seen that said someone had access to my google passwords like a month ago but nothing taken or suspicious from banking. he has plenty of money. who in the world would care to do that? he's also answered texts to friends with a thumbs up, i do hearts NEVER thumbs up. ppl tell me they've called me, dont hear phone ring. no control over anything. now i'm completely locked out as everytime i hit a key my phone started flashing in background.
Can someone please tell me what authorities i go to or whats the first step is to report this cyber crime. called local police they said not their problem...

The writings that you have written is long and read it out. What understood that, you called local police but they denied to help you. But have you some evidences at least one evidence against him with your hand, first ensure that. Actually internet world is basically a virtual world, you can not prove anything in an easy way. If you have backups, you may consider to reset your phone/ what handheld device you have. As he knows about you everything, but keep in mind after resetting everything is gone and it is so difficult to get back again. You can sync with related cloud server like Google cloud (android)/iCloud ()iPhone) before going for resetting.
