I have installed SBS 2003 and office/outlook 2007 on the workstations. I don't want to alter the email/pop3 but I just need to share calendars and address books. How do you set up exchange to share calendars and addresses ONLY?

Just for clarification, all of your users are set up for pop3 and not mapi connection by outlook to your exchange server?

I don't know if there is any difference between sharing calendars with mapi clients vs. pop3 clients, but with the mapi clients at least users themselves can grant these permisons to just these folders only by going to the sharing permissions tab for those folders. Are you wanting to restrict ALL users from sharing any folders except those you mentioned?

All I need to share is calendar and addresses. I do not want to use exchange to serve email. Email is downloaded from a pop server.

Calendar free/busy information is provided by the client access role server for exchange 2007 and so will be available to share with all users with mailboxes on your exchange server even if you are only doing a pop3 setup. The contacts folder should also be available to share. I still am not sure where your question lies here. Again, are you trying to prevent sharing of any folder except these for ALL users on your exchange server? In other words are you looking for a global solution or just a solution to provide for individuals who do not want to share more than these two folders?
