I use googleapps standard edition to send and receive my business emails. Domain (abc.com) is hosted by ixwebhosting and MX records point to 1 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. I have installed Small business Server 2003 R2 but am unable to send and receive emails. Is it possible for exchange POP3 connector to send and receive emails from gmail (googleapps)? If so, why i am unable to send/receive emails?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Did you create your POP3 mailboxes in the Connector Manager first? If the mailboxes haven’t been defined, the connector is disabled and the service doesn’t start.

I'm confused, you are using google apps, but you have exchange installed or in use? You said "Is it possible for exchange POP3 connector to send and receive emails from gmail (googleapps)?" So if exchange is in use, do you have pop3 enabled (it is disabled by default). If exchange is not in use, please clarify. You can set up a pop3 account in outlook for google without exchange involvement at all. Are you using outlook? Also is this attempt to send/receive taking place on the server or your desk pc?
